I am closing this blog. Just too many blogs to keep up with, so I'm trying to condense them down to only about three. Also, I want to make them in a way you can find things more easily and know which blog you'd like to go to.

I will have one for my everyday stuff which can consist of my project 365, scrapbooking, and whatever strikes my fancy. This blog can be found here: Barb's Bite Sized Notes

Hi Everyone, I can't believe how long it's been since I posted. So that being said, for 2012 I will be combining my blogs so I don't have to keep up with three of them. I will be trying to think of a new name, so suggestions are welcome.

What's your scrapbooking or craft goals for 2011? My goal is to do at least 20 pages a month for the year 2011. I love scrapbooking and am hoping to get caught back up on the photos I took in 2010 but to also get done with all the backlog I still have to do. I would like to finish the backlog photos I have so I can really be creative in the pages I work on in the future.

So, tell me your craft goals for 2011.

This year I'm doing Ali Edwards class "One Little Word" to focus on throughout the year. To read more about my "word" I picked this year, go to my other blog here to find out more about Ali and my word.

I may rearrange my blogs so I narrow it down to just two and may combine my craft blog with my Everydaylifesissues blog.

Bonus giveaway: If anyone can give me suggestions on a name for my blogs to combine them, please leave it in the comment section. It will be my everyday lifes issues blog where I talk about weight loss, decluttering, getting organized, everyday stuff and combine it with my craft blog I do here. Here is another ATC I did last month. It's called, Friendship. Just two friendly spiders sharing a cup of coffee.

Announcement: I going to try something new coming up. I am going to do a challenge where everyone makes the same thing with the same materials. You would then take a photo of the completed project, and email me the photo. I will then post everyone's completed challenge creation on here and people will vote on which one they like the best. You can do this in addition to that weeks Craft it Wed. or just do the challenge. Up to you. I am trying to figure out the details. The one with the most votes will win a prize. Week 26- Inkstamp Eyes

I did this in a picture program and figured I'd put it in a scrapbook later. It's of my me (top photo), mom (middle), and my sister (bottom photo). I put our eyes like this and then changed it to black and white and then a Inkstamp type look. Then I added the words. I thought it would look neat to have the girls together and compare our looks. I am trying to do new creative things with my pictures.

I got a kit at one of the craft stores for my grandson and he made these bird balloons. The black one is a penquin, the red one is a cardinal, yellow one is a yellow bird, etc.

Week 21 - ATC Card

I am doing this challenge from one of my yahoo groups where the list owner sends out a project to do with a certain theme and we had to put something together. Her first challenge was to do a ATC card, which stands for Artist Trading Card. I've never really done them before because I am challenged just doing something that small. I'm used to scrapbooking a 12x12 page, so for me this was a challenge. Here's my first ATC card.

It's called, "Joy to the World" like the Christmas song. Let me know what you think about it in the comment section.

I made this Christmas card last year. You cut around the rim of the top of the cup and slip in a tea bag when sending. If you enlarge the picture you can see the poem that goes along with it.

Week 11 - Felt Advent Tree

I just bought this a few days ago at a craft fair. I love it. They had dog bones in the one. I put one in there to show you. In the other one they had candy canes. But, what I'm going to do with mine is write on a piece of paper a clue to where a present will be each day for my grandson to find. I thought this would be fun. I put one in one of the pockets to show you.

Why should you read my blog?
Here's why you should read this blog. Mostly everyone loves crafts of some kind or another and this blog is to share your crafts and get new ideas. There's no harm in looking at someone else's craft and get fresh ideas to get your creative juices flowing. I don't care what type of craft you do if you would like to participate. It could be you love scrapbooking as I do, or cardmaking, woodworking, rock painting, drawing, flower arranging, wreath making, egg decorating, or whatever else you like to create.

Wait! you say, you don't really do anytype of crafts yet but are feeling your way around to try and find a craft that interest you. Well, visit others who are joining my craft blog to take a look around. Post a photo of someone else's craft with their permission on your blog till you do a craft of your own. I also give away something craft related once or twice a month. Hope you will stop by often.

This project was made from a kit that I bought at a craft store. My grandson, age 6, loved putting this together. All you needed was the kit which already came with the foam shapes and some glue or a glue gun.

Scrapbooking - Week 2

Today I decided to post a layout I did this past week scrapbooking. The birthday boy. He had his birthday party at a pizza place and the waitress put the cake in front of the wrong child. We got it straightened out though.

Rock Painting - Week 1

I was going to post a scrapbook page but by the looks of it I may not get to do any today so I am posting these pet rocks. I will post a different craft next week.

My son and grandson made these pet rocks. I think they came in a kit but how easy it would be to just buy the stuff and make several of these yourself.

Thought I'd show the underside of these, along with them side by side for more detail. All you really need is some paint, brushes, stuff for hair, eyes which you can get in a large pack, glue, and some felt for the wings, feet, and nose. The rocks you can either find outside or buy a pack of those smooth ones at the craft store. Great project to do with the kids.
